How much silver in film?
There are many types of film with different amounts of silver in them, if you tell us which type of film you have fore recycling we can tell you how much we pay for it.
Do you pick-up in New York?
We pick-up in New York, Los Angeles, California, Miami, Florida or any other city and state in the US including Hawaii and PR.
Do we have to pay anything?
The pick-up is 100% free and we pay you for the film by the lb as long as you have over 50 lbs of film.
Do you accept all types of film?
All types of film which contains silver are accepted including medical film, CT scans, MRI film, industrial film, NDE / NDT film, graphic art film both positive and negatives.
Is there a fee for pick-up x-rays for recycling?
There is no fee if you have more than our minimum weight for pick-up, each state has a different minimum but it is 50 lbs for most states.
Are you HITECH compliant? Are you HIPAA compliant?
We are both HITECH and HIPAA compliant.
Do you pay on the spot for the silver in the x-rays?
Depending on the area we do pay on the spot for x-rays.
Do we have to shred the x-rays or cut the name of the edges?
There is no need for you to shred or cut off names of the edges of the film the, the film will be destructed at our facility along with all of the information on it.
Do you accept dental x-ray film?
We do accept dental film, however, we do not accept dental film when its mixed in with paper or envelopes, in other words when it comes to dental x-rays it has to be nothing but pure film.
